My Photography Says: Sempu Island, Malang, Indonesia. April 2014

Sempu Island is one of island located at Malang regency, East Java, Indonesia. This is one of island that facing the fury of South Sea, which is wide open to Indian Ocean. So, don't you ever think to swim here... hahahaha.

But sure you can swim, but not in the open sea, but inside the laguna of Sempu Island. It is protected from the crazy wave of Indian ocean.

This island actually an preservation island, it was state to conservation and preservation Island since 1928 while Dutch still reign here. But today, even thou it still conservation and preservation island, people can come for enjoying the nature. Of course with limited and strict rule to not ruin the nature.

The trail to the laguna is crazy, not yet build a hiking track, sometimes we should re-open the closed track. At least there are 2-3 tracks there that you can follow. But to be wise, better takes guide man, which can also be porter. If else, you might lost forever in the jungle and live with monkeys there....hahaha.
