Hi dear friends, it is a new post from my recent traveling.

This time is unique for I try to travel alone. And its not so very fun but fun enough, for you meet new friends in the way.

Anyway my solo travel happened to be in Solo city of middle Java, so it will be remembered, solo in Solo...hahaha

Well I try my best to visit all recommended places from Mr. Google.co.id but unfortunately I can not made all in time, so I should be return here someday soon I guess.

1st. Jumog Waterfall.

See the gate? It says you just goes down 116 steps stairs... hahaha

2nd. Sukuh Temple, the temple of Women.

This temple of Women shows so many woman things. The old Hindu believer of this temple must think of how the first life begin, and they realize that men and women were came out from woman genital, so they worship this as the sources of life.

Actually there are another temple named Cetho temple, its man temple, you can guess what they worship ya..hahaha. Unfortunately this I cannot visit because of limited time.

The story of picture on left that this is the gate to the temple. As you see, the sculpture there showing penis and vagina like about united. Old story said, this is the gate test for women virginity. If they virgin and passed this gate and they okay, then they proved as virgin. But if they were not but lie to be virgin, after they pass this gate, they will get bleeding sickness and non-stop bleed out from her genital. Thats why the keeper of this temple lock the gate because they said many have tried and fall that cause them problem for medical help or else couple fighting. Well, perhaps it is true or just another tactic to make interesting story tell...hahaha.

Some relic here has been destroyed by a group of new religion that over rule the area, the reasons was because it is pornography and not suit their religion. But in my opinion, this should be preserved as history of Indonesia culture, it is our treasure after all.

3rd. Grojongan Sewu Waterfall.

4th. Laweyan Batik Villages

Laweyan village is one of famous village which producing Batik fabric and clothes. Here you can see handwriting batik fresh from the oven...hehehe.. I mean you can meet local tradition people who do Batik from generation to generations. Almost 90% people life here doing Batik. From a large scale factory to a housing production. You can even meet people who all their life doing Batik. And you can even take a course of doing writing Batik here, just like some kids I fortunately meet, they came from outside Solo, Church teens vacation.

But they have a rolling hot water washing and drying machine for this long cloth type..

5th. SOLO BATIK CARNIVAL

Solo batik carnival was held every year, it was a carnival like in Rio de Janeiro, with so many costumes and fashions, but it made from batik cloth as the main material.

6th. SANGIRAN THE HOME LAND OF JAVA MAN

Remember your oldies basic school? About the cave man? Darwin Theory? Phitecantropus erectus? Javanicus Soloensis? Hahahahahaha..... Yes indeed, the museum of archeology finding of cave man is here in Java. I don't think it is human, I believe it is monkey or orang utan, or gorilla.... Well, the location itself seems like a deep valley that were buried by volcanic eruption. So in this kind of super heat and instant dead, possible some bones structure changes. I am sure that man was created by GOD, not by evolution.

But anyway, lets have fun...hahaha
